Better question I should feel safe with the 4 wheelers next to me as well. Most of the accidents are caused by the 4 wheelers anyways

I had stage 4 lung cancer in 2017, I forfeited my CDL in 2018 do to not being able to pass the DOT physical. Fast forward to 2023 I’m in remission ( almost 2 years) and I’m waiting to retake the CDL training. Should I mention the cancer during the DOT physical?

@@EasyDOTPhysicals seems like it would cause me to have to get letters from my oncologist and possibly my primary. That’s not a easy DOT physical. what purpose would it serve to mention it? What dangers do you think it would represent “on the road”. Do you think it could be a disqualification?

Don't mention it because the DOT doctor is going by what you are telling him. Your hospital records are not shared because of HIPAA laws. Do not volunteer any information that's not related to the job it has no bearing you know when you are healthy or not you know when to stop or not.
