Hi guys I have an Audi A4 B9 2016 model. I changed the battery recently I switched from Exide EFB 79 Ah 720 A battery to Varta AGM 80 Ah 800 A battery. I haven't done the battery adaptation (with VCDS or OBD 11) My question is: is it normal to read 14,35 V at 800 rpm and almost the same value at > 3500 rpm ? I mean the battery is new Is my alternator overcharging the battery at low speed ?

I have similiar problem in exact same car. Brand new battery check the fuse that he showed my car will only bump start or with a jump start ..with a jump start I can hear the starter motor engaging so I know it's not that and I cleaned all my grounds and my connections any ideas? O'Reilly saying it's a bad diode in the alternator

Is there a voltage regulator in the alternator. The volt reg has brushes. Can change the whole and save alternator

Is the AC still working when using the old alternator ? I have Audi A3 with AC problem which occasionally turn off itself, I think my alternator is the culprit because of low voltage when idling in traffic jam.

How do You know it is the alternador itself and not only the regulator??

bruh at first i was so mad... this man said this one is usually the alternator fuse and put his finger on 2 fuses... 😂😂😂

I replaced voltage regulator and battery but red battery light still on, checked all fuses one (front lamp washer) was blown, changed it but still red battery light, any suggestions?
