This video will show you how to diagnose the Honda AIRBAG, SRS Module and see if its good or bad airbag module.
If the airbag module has a crash data stored.
If the car was in an accident.
If the Airbag module needs to be reset or repaired.
This video will only work for all Honda and Acura cars and will determine if the AIRBAG SRS MODULE or computer is good.
If you follow the steps in the video and at the end of the reset procedure the airbag light doesn't blink 2 times but lights up and stays on you need to replace or reset the crash data.

2005 accord. Followed your video to the tee. Light did NOT blink twice. Diagnosis=crash codes. Sent in SRS module to erase crash data. Got it back. installed. Airbag light is now gone from dash!! Thank you so much! (note: I used the company safety restore in MA, USA and they were fantastic)

Thanks for the great tutorial saved me 240 bucks . I work in a body shop and after pulling out my dash to change heater core this my air bag light remained on the computer at my job was unable to reset and no codes were coming up took to my vendor Honda dealer to use there computer and they told me what I already knew no codes assholes wanted to charge me 240 to go thru each system which I had already done . Worked great on my 2006 Honda Accord ex test drove as light would usually come on once I hit my breaks drove 5 miles shut car off drove back light is still off thanks!

13 years old and still worked great for resetting my SRS light. Downside is that the lights comes back on, but cannot find your other mentioned movie to diagnose the error code in the system - maybe it is removed? For some reason cannot find such video anywhere - how to make it flash the codes. I own a 2003 Accord Euro , but so far it worked the same as the shown USDM Accord.

hey dont know if you know this but the maint light can be turned off by turn off car push trip metter stick in and turn igntion on but dont start car all while still holding trip metter stick in , hold for ten sec and it will turn off. also this vid helped me the first few times but now srs light stays on

Can I pull airbag codes like this on a 2005 Acura EL? Or do I HAVE to take it to a dealer? Partsource scans the ODB for free but they said they cant read the airbag codes with ODB. The light came on 4 months ago and I was never in an accident. Car has 250,000 Km on it now. Please help bro

In my honda accord 2005 EX the seat was in the wrong position too far back and too reclined. Apparently the computer that controls the airbags, checks what the position of the seat is ( I guess this applies only to the cars with the power seats). I went even to the dealer to diagnose it and they wanted to change the whole module for £800 + labour (London, UK). After many months and trying many internet solutions, I put the seat in a better (correct) position for some reason - closer to driving wheel and not reclined and the light went off. It's been all good now for at least 6 months. I am pretty sure that was it because I tried almost all tricks before and nothing worked.

My kid 2005 Hyundai Elantra got into a good frontal collision with bumper, stuck hood, and driver door stuck(frame shifted in) etc. Air bag light is now no but no air bag was deployed. I saw that fix as well when I started looking into possible solutions for this problem. Apparently there's a "lifetime warranty" on the seatbelts, so you could always get it replaced for free, but I'm sure most dealerships only would of there was some code or other proof that the seatbelt is what's causing the problem. this video will at least show you how to check for problems with your airbag computer so you can cross it out as a possible problem.

Brother i did it just like you say and the light went off, I turn switch off remove the wire out of the connector and light is back on i did it 3 times and after is off when I turn off the switch and put it back on air bag return, I try to check the codes and it say 4-1 and 8-1.... any help will be appreciated.
