I always look at the dates on a week that’s split between two months. Whichever month has more days in that week is the month that week falls in… (ex. Week of January 29 through February 4. There are 3 January days and 4 February days so the week falls under February). Just another option too. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, thanks for the info. I hate undated planners but always wondered why some months have 5 weeks and some have 4. Also, a fun way to remember which months have 31 days is... make a fist with one hand then with the other hand, put your finger on the first knuckle say January, then put your finger between your knuckles and say February, and so on. Each knuckle is a month with 31 days. July the last knuckle and August the first knuckle again both have 31 days.

The other way I have learned was that if you take the last week of the month and if only 3 days falls within that week of the month you move it to the next month. If it has 4 days it falls within that same month. (if there is more days in the week of the next month then you move the other days to the next month)

Sometimes we add 6 weeks when we design undated planners to give enough space for the monthly planners. Because a user can start using the planner any month. Especially if you use the weeks starting with Monday, you will see some months look like they have 6 weeks. If you want to see every date for that month on the same spread you can add 6 weeks without changing the layout too much. You can do the same on the video but some users want to see the all days on the same spread.

I struggled with this when I made my own planner! I thought I was going to have a mess when I was done, but my son showed me how it worked out and evened out in the end. I also learned that I'm a visual learner.🤷🏾‍♀️

In an undated planner I don't like the back of the back page, so if I don't use the other side, I remove the back page. But that's just me. You did a great job of explaining it.
