How to know your spouse.. 1. What kind of marriage do u want? 2. Make sure you have the same perspective of marriage 3. Know God to spot a godly person 4. Know your values: negotiables and non- negotiables 5. Marry from d same christian tribe 6. Purpose before your partnership 7. Healthy vs unhealthy conflicts 8. Teachability: is the person teachable or willing to learn? who are the person's mentors? 9. Dont be led by emotions... 10. Make sure the person is strengthening you spiritually, financially and mentally. 11. Third parties are important in relationships. You must look for d right 3rd party. 12. Be healthy: if you are desperate your chance of making the best decision is slim to none. I might have missed some. I also didn’t arrange them in a sequential order.

My major pick up point is not to casually see weaknesses or make defenses for them, if you cannot deal with it, don't hope that things will change or get better cause in marriage, weaknesses get magnified as you're closer and becomes more unbearable. So if you can't deal now, quit, to avoid "I didn't know" Cause you do, you just decided to ignore the slight appearance. Thanks so much for this.

Marry from your faith tribe! Because I have discovered that even though we're all Christians, different churches have different beliefs and traditions. This is huge for me, this was very insightful!

How To Know Your Spouse: 1: What kind of marriage do you want. 2: Make sure you have the same perspective of marriage. 3: To God to spot a godly person. (Discernment) 4: Know your values: negotiable and non negotiable 5: Marry from the same christian tribe. (Faith Tribe)(Proximity should never equate suitability) 6: Purpose before your partnership. 7: Healthy vs Unhealthy conflicts. ( Your conflicts makes you bitter or better?)(Lol, she said they really quarrelled, had lots of misunderstanding when in relationship) 8: Teachability -- is the person teachable or willing to learn? Who are the person's mentors? 9: Don't be led by emotions. 10: Make sure the person is strengthening your spiritually, financially and mentally. 11: Third parties are important to a relationships. You must locate the right third party. 12: Be healthy. Desperation slims your chance of making the right best decision.

Wahala everywhere. Isn't it better to stay single?.The issue is no one can match all those things. What should you compromise on and what shouldn't you compromise.
@enumangene6914 Жыл бұрын
It's your duty to know your own non-negotiables and negotiables, that's how you know what you can compromise on and what you can't compromise on, it differs for everyone.
