How To : Larger Reborns (Pickle Joseph etc )

With the Reborn Pickle explosion onto the scene there's a number of collectors asking how to deal with a larger baby after having much smaller ones previously.

Oh, this is such a great informative video with lots of wonderful tips on these bigger babies! You really do have to re-think what you do with them and how they should be stuffed and weighted in comparison to the norm for most of us which is newborn size babies! It took a bit of getting used to for me especially with how to dress June.......luckily she came perfectly under-stuffed and with that amazing body plate to give her structure that she needs to sit up on her own, but yes, to your point.....sleepers do not sit up on their own while sleeping! Lol! OMG, I can just picture stuffing one of these bigger babies into a newborn carrier car seat! Hahahaha.......all of my nope! Legs dangling off the edge and all, what a sight that must be! Lol! I love this outfit on Rocco, the colors are gorgeous and boy do you have him perfectly stuffed/weighted.......look at how he curls right up! Love him so much! Thank you for sharing all of this with us. I know there are a LOT of collectors out there that have been struggling as these bigger dolls are new to them and I think this is uber helpful! I’ve always re weighted and I fact (I think the loose baby fat works really well) I remember years ago saying to you fill with baby fat it’s a game changer 😂 great video very informative for bigger. Babies .. when I had hammock I also put armatures in him made him much more animated (and yes I regret selling that bun 😂😂 I think stuffed bodies look like teddies bears and once I see one it’s all I can think of 🙈 Rocco looks super cute loved this x

Yep you taught me how to use those silicone beads perfectly ,I've never done anything else since . And it matters with the big babies because they're more likely to look like roadkill if you aren't careful 😂❤❤❤

Please don'tt judge me but I can't take any of my babies apart but I'm happy for people who do. I have a pickle who is very stuffed but her arms don't get out as you explained. You can give your friend my name cause I have a big pickle girl too! Thank you

Ok, I am glad you made this video because it reminded me I wanted to ask a question about the larger babies…I have a Sandie and she has weight in her head so she is always looking down. If I take the weighting out, will the zip tie hold her head up straight? Do I need to add more stuffing in the shoulder/neck area of the body? My Charlotte 11 months is the same way. I just don’t know if taking the weight out will miraculously keep them looking straight ahead instead of at the floor? 😘
