How to Laser Engrave & Etch Anodized Aluminum the RIGHT Way (Tried and Tested Methods)

I've got a 20 Watt fiber laser and I'm trying to make high quality playing cards for various games. I was wondering if you had any information on how to get not particularly glossy anodized aluminum to be higher gloss. I have both thin business cards and thick trading card blanks but the thicker are not very glossy. I would like to if possible be able to get the 100% photo realistic results out of the thicker cards which I'm getting with the thinner ones. Any guidance would be appreciated.
