I ve been looking for a tutorial for lashing sticks together and it seems your the only one here on youtube. I am very happy. I like your technique very much and I hope you do more of these videosmaybe using other alternatives for lashing? Thanks and keep it up ;)

Yeah... it is pretty nice... it doesn't do much for strength, but it allows the sticks to interlock nicely and be less bulky.

Hi!. I want to know more about that "x-gouge" thing. I never saw it and I can't find any information about it. Where do you learn it? I know a technique to improve the quality of a square lashing, but it's different. (search for "amarres rebajes scout" on google images, 4th image) In argentina we call that "to make an [encastre]", and it's a common boy scouts technique. Do you know the name in english for this technique? Thanks!
