Thanks so much for making and sharing. Very eloquent descriptionand very helpful with the diagrams At 68yo and quite heavy Hobie Outback I was always struggling to launch and retrieve. This will hopefully make it not only easier and safer but also a lot less embarrassing. Thanks again and happy days

Hi George! So glad this helped. Have you been able to set this up? Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Yo! Writing from England. I just picked up my PA14 three weeks ago. You have saved me time, headached and money, pal. Best and most comprehensive channel I've seen on the basics and advanced things I need to know. And I've been researching the last 3 months - hard! Thank you, my dude!

Ba! I’m so happy I could help. Enjoy the new pa14. It’s a great fishing platform. What fish do you target and what bodies of water do you fish on?

This was a great video. Very unique way of showing, but it worked great. Had mine out for first time today and came ashore on the boat ramp like I was a Viking storming the beach. Needless to say I realized I need to research a better way. This helped a lot, thanks!

@RomanCastroVlog6 жыл бұрын
HI Carl, fair point. Thanks for the feedback.
@Fryerfaith2 ай бұрын
Definitely a great way to do it for sure, but if the boat ramp is busy, then this could be pretty difficult and the scratches do sock, but it is kind of just a part of kayaking. I definitely will try this the next time I go out.

Glad it was helpful LBCFun! What kind of yak are you fishing on?
@ReplayFan5624 жыл бұрын
Roman Castro Vlog Hi Roman, Thank you for asking what yak I am on. I happily fish from land and once in awhile from boats. I have physical limitations from years of joint damage due to arthritis so no solo kayaking for me. I know it has to be a blast catching fish from a kayak, float tube etc. I enjoy your content. I appreciate your instant willingness to share your knowledge and help others in whatever area in life you can. I like your sense of humor, your positive, friendly, fun, keep it clean attitude. Thank you for all the time you put in and thank you to your family for sharing you with us.

So yesterday was my maiden voyage with my PA 12. I have the same wheels and put them in the scupper holes like you are supposed to but then when I got going I realized I could not use the paddle holder and could not get my rods out of the horizontal rod holders. Have you guys run into this with those wheels?
@RomanCastroVlog4 жыл бұрын
Hi Roger! I know exactly what you mean. The wheels block the rod holders in the back. Here are a few options for you. OPTION 1 - Put your cart on the back deck under the bungees. OPTION 2 - Put the cart upside down through the back H-BAR. On this one make sure it is tied to the kayak somehow. OPTION 3 - Pop off the wheels, throw them in the front hatch, and put the wheel frame in the scuppers like before. without wheels it wont get in the way as much. I always do option 1 since its the safest and least work.
@rogernicosia11344 жыл бұрын
@@RomanCastroVlog yes, I started using #1 method and this way of launching! Great videos man, keep it up!
@greta54993 жыл бұрын
Curious why you didn't put the wheel upside down in the holes once it was in the water?
@RomanCastroVlog3 жыл бұрын
Hi Greta, sorry it took so long to respond. The wheels are so big that they cover the upright rod holders on the sides behind the seat.

Great video. Super unique way of demonstration.

Nice job Roman, what if you have a Live well in the rear scupper holes. I guess you could always take out the Live well and reinstall it. Maybe a short video of using the front scupper hole for the cart. Or maybe another type of method.
@Toisornottoam2 жыл бұрын
Great video. So what do those do that don’t carry their cart on the yak and have to bring it up the ramp or beach to lock in their truck; meanwhile the kayak is drifting away? 🥺

You have a great idea and all but I think the Boondocks landing gear is just a little more simple !
@RomanCastroVlog2 жыл бұрын
Nothing simple about drilling into the hull and voiding the warranty. Also if you overload it the hull will crack. That said to each their own. Whatever it takes to get on the water.
