Ahhhh classic. First, end Epic Games from the task manager, then start it from Steam. Don't forget to open the controller entry from Steam.

Only Xbox controllers work with epic games, if you don’t have one try using DS4 Windows to convert other controllers to Xbox ones

epic games only supports xbox controllers, so either use a xbox 1 or 360 controller or if your using ps controllers look at DS4 windows

I do not understand. The game will continue to be launched through Epic Laucher! I wanted the Game to be fully handled by STEAM. I did everything in the tutorial video. Now, when I open STEAM, it opens EPIC LAUNCHER, which then launches the game. I'm there at the beginning of it all! My goal was to eliminate EPIC LAUCHER because it mishandles the modes.

Unfortunately, you aren’t able to transfer the games like that. This just allows you to centralize the ability to launch games from a single launcher instead of having to open up epic games yourself

Steam lets you launch non-steam games, so this isn't really a way of downloading the game from a different store. The only way to download a game from a different store is to buy it from that store unfortunatly. So, if you wanted to download it from epic you'd have to buy it on the epic games store.

adding a non-steam game is separate from steam games. If you have destiny 2 in your steam library i'd recommend giving the epic games version a name that help you distinguish the two

it can be for controller support. epic games has no support at all for controllers outside inbuilt in games. If you launch thrugh steam all epic games have controller support. i use it all the time, since i have GTAV on epic, and want to use a ps4 controller

how to open RDR2 so that the gamepad works? adding a game shortcut to steam. it opens first Epic Games.... then -----> Rockstar Games Launcher -----> and only then RDR2. but the gamepad is no longer tied to the game. The gamepad controls the cursor. and there is no way to switch it to normal gamepad control mode

Kinda, it can be a bit weird with controller input. You either have to use a Xbox controller or connect other controllers to your pc and use a software like DS4 Windows to make it appear as a Xbox controller

Epic only supports Xbox controller. You can look into software to emulate whatever controller you are using to appear as a Xbox one. Like ds4windows works for play station controllers
