After enjoying each video, I can hardly wait for the next one. Fabulous design plans, love your style! Have been pondering about the shutters and new carriage lights. PLEASE KEEP THE SHUTTERS. They are like jewelry for the cute windows. As for the carriage lights, please use the ones you already purchased elsewhere. I would love to see taller, more slender lanterns in brass to match the hardware on the front door and other touches of brass. Whatever you decide will be great. ❤

Also,a funny little thing: When I was mudlarking in London,I came across many bricks. Some were Tudor-era,late 1500’s. If I had known that you were moving,I would have brought one home,for you to have. Linda, I know how much you loved using pea gravel at the old home and I notice you’re using an infill in the new patio that is similar in pleasing colors, yet less “moving” as pea gravel. Could you please link your “recipe” for the new infill, as many of us may use this instead, because we love the look of pea gravel, yet realize the impracticality of it in places that have traffic issues. Okay, there's alot to unpack today. There is a wonderful writer and stylist named Paula Sutton. She and her family live in Norfolk England in a cottage. It is elegant and lovely. I would never call it cute. Everything Paula does is elegant. Her home is called Hill House. She has a channel called Hill House Vintage and she has a book called Hill House Living. Cottage homes are smaller and simpler homes than Manor houses but being small and simple doesn't mean they are cute. You don't need to be concerned about your cottage being cute. It isn't. It's lovely and becoming lovelier everyday.

I need to do a “home made” version of that cute cobblestone in my back yard where it just won’t drain. So it will be a area where a bench with pots can go.
