I didn’t think the front door looked bad at all Linda until you changed it. Wow the door now looks amazing. I love the new trims on your arches as well. Merry Christmas Linda and Stewart and families. Also John as well. ☺️🙏🏼🎅🏻🎄🍷

I liked the pressed paper trees - so neat! Love the wreaths on windows. From yr to yr --- i do some things the same & then do mix things up abit also for some changes. Thru the yrs i always love wreaths & green garland & red bows on the exterior of our home.

Linda..I loved this video and all the changes you continue to make. It's very comfortable and I feel right at home in your house. You are more than kind to welcome us in. A 48" table will seat 6 people definitely. The smaller table might lend itself more to your room. You do you! :) If it were me, I would do the smaller one. Easier to play games on also. Happy New Year!

Would it be a good topic for a future video to discuss products and methods for safely storing Christmas ornaments? In addition to very fragile glass ornaments, I am thinking especially of construction paper ornaments made by our kids and grandkids, or fabric, crocheted, or needlepoint creations from our loved ones. Products that keep things from getting creased, or faded, protect from moisture, and take up minimal storage space are always helpful.

Over all the years I have collected so many decorations that I love, so I have to put things away before I can put anything else out. I ran out of time this Christmas that I never got around to putting the ornaments on my tree. It was pre- lit. So when my company came I put them to work adding the ornaments!!! They had fun and there was always a line of people holding decorations to put on the tree. Will I do that again next year? Probably not!!! I am trying so hard not to reposition the ornaments!!!! 😊😊😊

We appreciate the extra work involved in the improved audio. I never want to miss a word John has to say as I love his style of decor and his thought process in executing the look he's after. I can confidently say that I will be watching this over and over - waiting patiently for John to write a book! Wink-wink Love and holiday greetings to all, Linda, Stewart and John.

I always love when you visit John and we get to see his amazing home! Lots of great memories for me because I have counted at least 8 or 9 ornaments on his tree that I have as well. They belonged to my mom and grandmother.

Linda you are one of the few if not the only person who referred to "soda" as POP. I grew up calling it pop and actually drank it from a bottle. We weren't allowed pop only on occasion growing up. So, luckily I didn't acquire a taste for it or a pop habit.

Linda - here's a table extension idea. Have a piece of plywood cut into a 54 inch circle and cut the center out to border your current 48 inch table. You can store the plywood piece in your garage and when you want a bigger table, you can use the extension and add a tablecloth to hide the plywood. And where did you buy the Mom chair? I'm looking for one like it.
