St. Agustin grass is very nice if taken care properly. Cut at 3.5-4 inches and fertilized and watered, it'll look its best. Great Job btw!

I started doing concrete and make way more than sod installs, regular grey broom finish 12 per sq ft installed compared to 2 dollar per sq ft sod and I have to sub out the finishers and still make more everytime oddells the man his work is serious great job guys

I installed St. Augustine sod in a similar fashion and it "bunched up" creating a "bouncy" surface. My gardener told me I was supposed to stagger it because it's a creeping grass and will cover bare areas naturally. How is this installation doing today?

A neighbor needs a backyard remodel. I have a few years knowledge and experience doing everything they want however I learned from the labor side not the contracting/bidding side. My old bosses kept me out of that because I was their demo/install they needed me making garbage working for them and not bidding my own jobs! No more hourly rate for me haha! Always put large pieces near the concrete - not small pieces - because the small pieces will dry out in a heart beat. Use the smaller pieces toward the center

St. Augustine itches when laying on it. I would have gone with blue grass. Sprinkler heads were not installed correctly. You need to use a flex hose at your connections as means to deter any accidental breakage when stepping on the heads.

Sprinklers were installed flush or even lower than grass, so that no one would even step on them

Odell Complete Concrete Overtime, you’ll get expansion within the soil lifting the heads up. Again, the proper method is to use flex hose or swivels on each connections. But hey, I’m not the customer.
