I've played this game a long time and I know too much when it comes to the track aspect lol At 06:55 It's technically "not new" stuff. You've always been able to lay switches or other crossovers at grades, but with the most recent Map and Splines update, it has now been the easiest it's ever been to lay all track types at grades or inclines. Vertical curves and Spiral curves both essentially do the same thing, depending on which axis you're transforming. I, myself have a whole segment explaining this in a few of the Track Laying 101 videos. As I've matured in this game, I realize the actual practice of this level of geometry doesn't affect in-game physics in a true fashion. It really comes down to preference if you want to break up splines into more segments to get the correct spiral or vertical dilation.

Hey @Kist_This, thanks for commenting and of course you've played this a long time, and made many KZbin videos that I have enjoyed. Agreed, I love the new updates and hope we get 60 and maybe 30 degree crossovers as well as Y-switches and curved switches too. Tighter radius yard switches would be nice as well.
