This was great! Always looking for this type of content about recording ideas and stacking parts... but really hard to find many.

Just wanted to thank you for all the lessons, made so much difference in my playing recently. Loving doing more rhythm guitar now and serving the song.

This is just perfect - you make me miss NOLA- remember one of my first time at tipitinas in the early 90s with an older girl (she was 18 and I was 16🙄)- think it was cowboy mouth? And I think tips had a basement - saw b Hampton with Aquarius rescue and kiddy Derek trucks joining in- oy. All I remember was thinking I made it to heaven- trying to learn these riffs- especially the gospel based funk stuff- like my life depends on it. Thank you so much for sharing!! Truly appreciate you language and person and how you communicate both.

Another great video Shane! I have to tell you that since I started playing single notes on all strings between the nut and 12 fret like you recommended in your video on Mastering the fret board, the results have been amazing!! Just doing it for a few minutes a day I now have a much easier time visualize all the notes on the fretboard. So again thank you so much! Happy new year 🎉😎

Love this Shane, sounds great…I have Logic but really did not know how to put it all together …this is so cool …with the different layers …hope to see more content like this…thanks.

thanks Charles- i used Logic for kick, snare, keys and another loop that I tucked in. I played real bass, guitars and a real shaker, tamborine and triangle in there. I like adding real instruments whenever possible

Great lesson in track building Shane! Flashy solo players seem to be a dime a dozen, but being a solid and creative "rhythm master" is my goal .. to me it's way more fun and also makes you more valuable to a band .. IMO.

Good examples of parts building Shane. Creating parts and tones is fun. Sometimes it is easy to add too many parts, until you have to chisel some of them away.

@TheRiotguitar I saw this video earlier, but i did not watch it. I thought, what a good idea. So i went and made a cool part and layered them basically the same thing you did. I thought, "Wow, mine is pretty good! Then i watched yours, and i was like, "Wow, for real! You blew me out of the park. Difference between a professional guitarist and a bedroom wanna be. Lol!!!😁🤣😂😆🙋♂️ Happy Holidays!!🎄☃️⛄️🛷🎅⭐️

This is so in the bullseye of what we do in studio - the only sad parts are when any of these are left out and replaced by keys ;)

Yes. I noticed later it wasn't your Hamer. Was the Guild your pawn shop find? Geez...I need strings! JC (And a couple guitars to repair)

Awesome parts, got me thinking is this in the key of Amajor and parallel key Aminor? Wasn't sure about the Jackson Junior type pocket parts towards the end at first but over the track they sounded cool! Thanks!

hmm...yes I guess it could be . I just wrote the bass track first and filled in the chords afterwards

So, why not record real instruments in Logic? Great parts and sounds!
@TheRiotguitar2 күн бұрын
Well, simple.....Because I suck at editing on Logic and I'm much faster working with Pro Tools. I think Logic is easier to build a good template with than Pro tools though, (for me anyway) Some of the videos I've posted here shot in hotels while i'm on tour are 100% Logic. It sounds really great but I spent so much time getting Pro Tools down it's more comfortable. But it's amazing what you get for 300 bucks with Logic really it's all you need.

Great analysis, thank you! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
