Hey Doug ✨ I'd like to say that this is honestly the best way to lead, learn and grow throughout 🤯 It was just recently that I found your videos and barely a month of even giving whittling a go. It was my wife's Christmas gift to me, a carving set of knives and the book of whittling 24 easy projects that brought me here and honestly it has begun to feel so wonderful doing it that I wish to keep going and getting better. I've just returned to whittling and did one of your minimalist lighthouses and want to paint it. Thanks for the awesome videos! You are amazing and I want to try this myself. My Dad was an amazing woodworker and as a little girl I would watch him make things. I think that is what got me interested in it. He passed away about 5 years ago but he would have loved watching you. I want to give this a try for him.
