Not sure why some of your questions haven’t been answered but I was also confused cause of how the bar slid when you were supposed to be seeing what to click but I figured it out. Click on the video then click on overlays and it should bring it down I hoped this helped clear up the video for anyone

The beach and the parrot are just 2 clips side by side until I drag the parrot underneath that's all so when the beach clip ended the parrot clip started

I have a greenscreen for the background but it's there as a foreground, do you have any idea as to how make it a background ? The layer UI in capcut is so confusing, much more so than Premiere Pro.
