The more you go in depth, the more you'll suffer to learn... Just learn different strumming patterns like a newbie slowly.. else you'll land on the same strumming which you learnt in the beginning...
@AditsGuitarLessons3 жыл бұрын
I respect yr pov but that is so not true. When you're a beginner you are most prone to learning the wrong way. The best way to learn is always going to be learning and internalising the principle first. Once you have mastered that, any application will be learnt in seconds.

You complicated the strumming thing with your theory ... It's not easy to understand what is the need of adding Dududud when you can just remember the pattern without that also.... Don't get it negatively its what i felt...

There's a way of getting around the frustrating calculating of down ups. I might make a video on simplifying falling into rhythm (instead of struggling with it).
@AditsGuitarLessons3 жыл бұрын
I think that nothing can be easier than just remembering alternating Downs and Ups instead of "different strumming patterns". DUDU is how your hand naturally strums, and thats what my method is based on. But i d certainly be interested in your video that aims to simplify beyond that
@longtalljay3 жыл бұрын
@@AditsGuitarLessons I love your channel and how you motivate folks to play guitar. Folks might find that different approaches more intuitively tap into the music we all have in our heads, hearts, hands, and bodies. I might make a video around "Chala Jaata Hoon" (Kishore Da/Rajesh Khanna) to show that there's a way that works more simply for some folks. It does not contradict the 16 sub-divisions idea. That song seems to use the same syncopation that 16-th note funk started employing around the same time in popular music history, albeit a little less funkily! 😃
