@@CasanovaExplains for now, I am correct, but it will not be long before this spoken error becomes accepted by The Oxford English Dictionary. 😉

But do the different dialects share the same grammar?
@CasanovaExplains4 ай бұрын
Somewhat yes! the principles are the same (masculine and feminine), but how they are applied might be slightly different. Which words are to say things like "I" and so on, but the sentence structure is the same.

Indeed Gulf accents in general might be a bit more similar to standard Arabic, but I am not sure about the availability of enough resources! for example, Egyptian as far as I know (as well as Syrian or levantine in general) has many good resources and learning material easily available online.

What are your goals and what is the thing you struggle most with? :) I could make videos on English learning too if I know your struggles, but in general what helped me most was 1. simple, children apps/games (on PC e.g.) that are interactive and 2. watching shows in English (could be anything you find fun and engaging, it has to be something you are interested in or else you won't be motivated to stay consistent)!

@@CasanovaExplains i want to learn it for speaking with people from difrent countries and i need it in working on internet and also in university we study by it . Thanks for the advices i will work by it .but i want to aske you if i found a word that i don't undrestand do i translate it or keep waching?
@CasanovaExplains3 ай бұрын
I would definitely translate it and keep a notebook (or a digital doc) where I add vocabulary I learn regularly! There are also apps for that where the app also makes flashcards or simple tests using the new words you learn! But: Try to translate the word using an English-to-English dictionary, it helps you to think in the language better :) I made a video about common mistakes language learners make where I also share tips about good practices for language learning, feel free to check it out if you are interested! :) And I'll make videos for English learning in the future, thanks for the inspiration!

I agree! I think the Egyptian dialect is a bit more fast-paced, whereas I find the Gulf dialects perhaps the most similar to MSA.
