Great, clear instruction style! Two challenges: You need to repeat the step sequence after putting it together, twice. Demonstrate the entire sequence with music at the end, then repeat twice so students can get the feeling of it into the brain-body connection. Adding these elements would make it truly excellent! Your approach (break it down to the basic steps) to teach fundamental moves it what master teachers do. It then allows building style and choreography on top. I’ve been a student and performer of dance (many styles) for over 40 years. I don’t give compliments easily, nor take the time to comment, I just thought you have exceptional style and capacity as a teacher. 😊

You can make the same steps look more manly, just wipe out the details of her finger moments (like the flag etc) and just replace that softness, that plasticity in her moves by showing some stiffness of your joints. Her grace is feminine, replace that with brashness of a young lad. Steps don't matter ...how you do it is the key in Indian dance moves.

I'm Indian and all of these moves are gidha, not bhangra. I've been learning Bhangra for 5 years and that is not how you do Bhangra.

I must admit, this video has made me laugh a bit. Bollywood (or should I say Bollyweird) has nothing to do with Bhangra, they are very far apart. . Besides, what this charming energetic lady is doing is not anywhere close to Bhangra. Bollywood and Bhangra in the same breath?? Bhangra is cultural to the fields of the Punjab. Gidha on the other hand is from the ladies’ quarter and of course Teean da Mela too. Bollywood dancing is choreography for commercial cinema; some of it is good and some is okay but most of it nothing more than .......................... concocted.

Lmaoo!! To begin with, she's not even doing bhangra. Those are bollywood dance moves. Secondly, Indian men don't use those moves that she did. Especially the first "dance move." Lol
