Awesome tips. I usually use music to pratice my writing too. I pick up one and pause that every 5 seconds in order to write down what I listen to. Afterwards,I translate unknown words,verbs,phrasal verbs etc.

I have always thought that music is a great tool we can use when we are learning a new language and it's totally true, so i totally agree with everything you just said. I also have another activity that could maybe help someone else, i use music to help me with my listening skills; i realized that whenever i listen to a song in spanish (my native language) i can memorise all the lyrics without having to read them, just by listening to the song, so i started doing an excersice with english songs so i can be able to do the same in english. I choose any song i don't know the lyrics of, i listen to it and write down every single word that i understood, if i don't understand a word or a phrase, i just write a few question marks, i write the whole song, then i just look at the original lyrics and write them too, and that's it, i check how many words i couldn't understand and i can also learn new vocabulary so this method is really useful if you really love to learn english and music!
