Sounds like you've really got the bebop thing down ! The only thing that kept me going , back during the war in Vietnam , was listening to Trane & Byrd amongst others . Good job and thanks for posting .

What do you think is the most important practice in jazz performance? Scale practice is hard to apply to actual performances. So I usually play the chord tone. What video of your lecture do you think is the most important? you are good player Im your fan

Hey Cecil, Do you ever use the coltrane kumoi minor scale 1 - 2 - b3 - 5 - 6? And how would you play it up tempo efficiently, it sounds good but it's very ackward.
