Your videos have been very helpful. I have been one of those people worried about setting up my business the right way. I do appliance repair and I feel like my liability is gonna be higher than most businesses since I am in the customer's home. Fortunately I'm not in any hurry. This is almost the opposite advice from attorney Aidan Durham's channel. She says you don't need a business plan, don't need to worry about the trademark, don't need to worry about forming an LLC, just get the business started and do those things once you have the money to do so.

As in most things - it really depends on the situation and the business. In my personal opinion it is important to tackle some of the legal issues early. If you don’t want to, or can’t afford to, then maybe starting a business isn’t for you.

Hi I came across your video when I was searching on how to start a LLC in NC. I’m thinking about starting my own senior care business as in helping them with grocery store runs, taking out the trash, light cleaning etc. and your video on 3 reasons not to LLC had me reconsider but now I need help on what direction to go? Hi Jim, I have one product in mind. If I end producing multiple products, should I create an LLC for each product or keep it all under one LLC? I have an LLC name thought out that is related to just the one product, but am afraid that I would be shooting myself in the foot if I end up making different products.
