Leveling up is very important in Helldivers 2 as it gives you access to better stratagems that allow you to challenge higher levels of difficulty. So How do you level up the fastest in Helldivers 2? I’ve been doing this method but with the destroy radio towers missions. It’s much easier to find the radio towers than the boss bug, and you just have to hit the radio tower (which doesn’t move) with the orbital strike to trigger the evac.

@@NovaGamingFPS it’s the terminate broadcasts mission. When you get to the radio tower, instead of going to the terminal and shutting down the broadcast, just drop an orbital on it.

If you do the robot defense on 7 or 8 with people that have the rocket and motar sentry you can clear it in 2 mins with out even moving, plus you can evac immediately cause its a defense mission. overall you can cycle it every 5 minutes and you get around 980 exp per game. You can do it duo, you just have to do a bit more, plus have good placements. (obviously if you can, its just an fyi for those who may not know.)

I find Broadcast to actually be the fastest and easiest right from level 1. The precision strike stratagem that you start the game with blows up the tower by itself and has a really easy code. You can drop directly on top of the tower, call in the air strike at your feet, and then just hoof it to extraction. With light armor you can easily outpace the bugs chasing you. Then just call for extraction and call in your choice of defensive emplacement and wait for the extract. I’ve been averaging 3 minutes 11 seconds in mission per drop. It’s just a little faster than the elite enemy killing mission because you don’t have to search for anything or deal any anti-armor damage, meaning the only stratagem you need to call before rushing to extraction is the precision strike which takes a fraction of a second. It’s still better to do Eliminations if the Broadcast mission is on a different planet as it takes about the time difference to play the planet/system swap animation. Great video though, I used the principles exemplified to grind for the last hour and a half and went from level 12-15. About half the time was spent on loading screens or cinematic sequences.

@@jaimierussell6908 the mission is Broadcast, you can find it in both Bug and Automaton worlds, its icon looks like a radio tower. You select the drop zone immediately on top of the objective, drop in and while climbing out of your pod call in a Precision Strike stratagem (Right, Right, Up) at the base of the radio tower with the console on it. The Precision Strike will blow up the tower, instantly completing the objective without needing to do any of the normal coding or realigning. As soon as you throw out the Precision Strike, run to the exit and call in extraction, then place a Turret or call in whatever else you’d like to hold out with. Board the ship when it arrives. I’ve cut my time down to 3 minutes flat in-game per mission, it really is quite fast.

Only on challenging at the highest, cause on hard you get two Bile Titan bosses (on Terminids) and you get less xp per run, because of the time consumed to locate and eliminate both of them.

i prefer the defense missions against the robots on diff 6, it will net a good ammount of medals. with 2-3 friends you get like 550xp, 2200 credits and 5 medals for about 2-3 minutes per run.

You can farm more XP and Medals and Resources on Highest Possible Difficulty on Defense Mission Against Cyborgs. Only thing you need is 2-3 Dudes with You and All possible Turrets (Mortars, Autocannon, Missile Launcher). If you put all your turrets you can finish a mission within 5-6 minutes (sometimes even faster).

I just do solo Eradicate Terminid Swarm at difficulty 6-7, shield pack makes it easy. Bile titans get oneshot by the rail cannon orbital, then my other 2 slots are air burst(better if your bad at doing stratagems while running away)/orbital Gatling barrage and a third weapon like rail gun or grenade launcher. In like 25 mins I get 1000 ish xp and its a good source of green samples which you need like 1500 of. I run scout armour but the default light armour works well just for the extra speed. Boosters health booster/ammo refill if you die a lot or if you have them muscle or stamina. before this I did the exact same with other stuff at difficulty 3-4

This is good if you wanna run solo while waiting for people to get on, tho I would add that looking for the cache areas around the map doesn't take much longer roughly around 4 min and can net ya some extra credits, slips and medals. Also the coms missions are just as quick to do if not even quicker, as you don't have to "find" the objective as its not mobile like in the case of the extermination and a single orbital can knock it out which is likewise easier to target as its a static target. As for strategems the airburst and gas are my go to for these kind of runs as they have a short cooldown and have unlimited uses unlike the eagles, but can still dispatch any enemy quickly including the brood commander, it should be noted to that the breaker shotgun can eliminate the commander in a single mag to.

I find the illegal broadcast missions to be much quicker and easier than the exterminate missions. Equip with an orbital precision strike and whatever else you want. Drop right next to the main objective and immediately toss the OPS onto the tower and run for extract. You can have extract called in with less than 60 seconds elapsed mission time. This puts you at the 90% time multiplier. Thump a few bugs and ride the shuttle back and do it again!

I’d say the base liberator is a good starting point as well as the automatic pistol. Additionally I would use the eagle airstrike, and orbital barrage as both of those are good

I think the faster method is to play on the hardest level you can with one other person who has mortars unlocked on defend missions against automatons. Harder difficulties have a multiplier and the missions go fast for not really doing much. Becomes easier the more mortars you have and the more people involved. 2 players is passable 3 players is ideal 4 players is gravy.

While this works... Seems like a great way to end up level 25 without having gotten many samples, meanwhile in the first ~20 hours of play I was level 25 having never done a mission harder than 4 , (and absolutely clearing the map on the level 3's bug holes and all) and having also unlocked the first level of all of the abilities one can unlock with samples. I wasnt even trying to optimise my play and played almost entirely solo to get there. This way seems like a great way to be a high level while not having as much utility as people you play with. Also do you even get medals on trivial? So you aren't even really going to have unlocked many guns either?

Everyone gets full value from the samples, requisition slips, super credits, and medals that anyone on the team picks up. Only the samples have to be extracted at the end of the mission to count. Everything else you get immediately.

If going for speed I'd try to avoid hot planets because of the stamina drain. And if playing with friends you could also have one wait at the extract while the others kill the commander. Then the waiter can start the DDR on the extract while the killers are in transit. At least that's what I would try to do...if I had friends. Haha!..aww I made myself sad. If you know, you know LOL

No offense but this is probably one of the slowest methods to level up. Got to max level in about 3 days by doing the eradicate robots missions on the hardest difficulty. It takes roughly 2-3 minutes to complete (including extracting) and gives around 900 xp per run. Not to mention a ton of medals.

Tip you forgot to mention: If you explore the entire area you can find medals, samples, and warbonds just laying around with virtually no trouble from enemies. You can even destroy hidden cache areas such as a blue metal door which hold weapons and loot. Playing just trivial solo helped me earn strategems and equipment much faster than playing with a full squad.

tbh I think the people who make these videos forget that xp multipliers exist it doesnt take 40 minutes to do missions even on helldive, more like 20-25 and helldive multiplies your base xp by 250% so you can easily get over 8k xp in 20 minutes vs an average of maybe 210 xp every 5-7 minutes, depending on load times, and how fast one can actually find the brood commander for the low level mission... netting you not even 2k xp in the same amount of time

I think this is wrong advice, if you really wanna lvl fast go to helldive/lvl 9 difficulty and run egg exterminations or search and destroy. Soling one of those missions takes about 8-10 min and you get xp1500 if you extract and xp1200 if you don’t

XP doesn't matter that much. People what you need is money, medals, resources for ship modules. That requires full clears in 25-30 minutes. You will get over 1000 XP, 20+ medals, 30 plus modules resources and 3-4k money in 30 minutes on difficulty 5 full clear. You get nothing from levels, exept things you can't afford to unlock if you are doing this, just play the game.

Saw already 50 levels in sessions, which can't do any mission just because they say and grind survival against automatons. Actually was monitoring forums and found interesting post from moderator. They know about it, and they'll fix this, don't know how, but neitherless. What's the most interesting, they have all statistics of players (of course they do), and all who get unbelievable levels in that time will be checked, and if they statistic sums mostly survival missions - they will be reseted to zero. Actually can't wait, just to see how they burn.

@@NovaGamingFPS Running search and destroy missions, if you go 9 difficulty search and destroy Avg completion time is 6-7 mins and you get anywhere from 900-1,500 xp a run. In fact even defensive missions would be faster than this, they take a capped 10 mins and you can Atleast get more XP, Medals and Samples for free.

Can’t wait till he realizes he can just do helldive difficulty reduce bugs numbers mission. For less than 10 min you get over 1k xp. But the downside is you won’t be completing the set of mission. Just keep finding the defense one but you will never actually be helping the planet percentage. It’s the best and worst xp farm. Worse because you’re not for democracy. Your for yourself.

Yeah this is true. Brother I made this video over a month ago at the time this was the fastest way to level up as a new player

Sure this might be "good exp" but you're lacking on medals, common samples, rare samples, and more. Right now with the way the exp boost is working this is the worst thing you could do imo. if you're like 15 ish and competent you can do a level 7 no problem with some randoms. I've ran egg extermination maps in 30 minutes. you might be able to do 10 of these missions in an hour or even half an hour but running other maps within that same time limit get you way more. If you're after exp go defensive missions with defensive stratas on higher difficulties you'll get a lot more exp.

You can adjust the difficulty when in the world map screen by pressing Q and E

Cap lol - I’ve been crushing level 8 and 9 missions, and get 1000xp per game with 4 people. Doing harder missions will 100% rank you quicker lol

If you dont finish the whole 3 missions you wont give any % to the win percentage of the planet being defended/Liberated. If theres a lot of people doing these LAME farms are just prejudicing the helldivers that are commited on trying to advance on other planets. But thats none of my business. But still lame. Do not recommend.
