hey wanna know something really funny the dude standing near the cell is not the best choice to pickpocket if you look across from him you will see a woman that sleeps during the night (Use the shout and plate Glitch to get into her cell) ....their is a perk that gives you a 25% perk chance at not getting caught if the person is asleep.....you would have been done in half the time :P since that dude that stands near the cell will catch you alot

@@pecador_tor at first she will catch you alot their is a perk that lets you have a 25% chance of not getting caught if the person is asleep and she does sleep at night so it makes it easier ....plus they will always catch you that is the part that sucks

What mods do you play with? I've watched your restoration loop vid and wondered if it conflicts with ordinator mod?

I didn't use any mods when i made this video and the restoration loop video, so I don't know for sure whether any conflict will occur. I suggest you give it a try. But also expect different results.

Sibbi is well known way to exploit pickpocket skill. I think that it doesn't work though with unofficial patch used on PC. However if someone on pc wants to raise quickly his any skill then console command is available: advskill pickpocket 1000000. But in my opinion using glitches takes away fun from gaming.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but anything over 90% pickpocket on an item is wasted.

Thanks for the videos. I've used the restoration loop, but it only levels up twice from 25% to 84% to 118% then repeats at 118%. So at that time I create enchant potions at 118%. It raises my enchant to 40% from 25%. I've tried this on different characters and different Skyrim versions, modded and unmodded with the same result. I guess it's still a good deal, maybe a little over sold on how easy and fast it is. It's certainly faster than grinding your way through it as I've done before youtube was a thing. I didn’t need resto loop items to get pickpocket to 100. All I did was take 1000 gold with me to Solstheim, find that annoying reclamation priest at the top of the stairs, and level it by gradually adding and taking gold from him. • Granted, doing it by getting jailed in Riften and nicking from Sibbi is easier because you’re already in jail. However, even with reloading from getting caught, the in-game time to level Pickpocket to 100 is still the same. Quicksaves are a beautiful thing, yeah?

I've used the 'Pickpocket Brend-Shei' method, but without the steps you did of going into the jail, stashing lockpicks, then getting joiled. Once you're in good with the Jarl, you can just visit the jail as a visitor and still pickpocket Brand-Shei. Is there a need for the extra steps?

Wait, there’s a way level pickpocket without getting jailed? Everyone else, those making guides or otherwise, have been saying getting jailed is the only way.

@@emma6648 It's necessary to first successfully plant the ring on Brand-Shei as Brynjolf suggests, so that he'll *be* in the jail at all. Tried a game without that, and the other people in the jail are far harder to pickpocket. As I say, I just leveled pickpocket somewhat with a trainer, and also spoke to the Jarl and did a mission for her that put me in her good books. That allowed me to just walk into the jail and the guards let me in, and then I could go and talk to Brand-Shei and pickpocket him. Put all your gold in the barrel except a small amount, and keep planting it in his pocket and pickpocketing it out, quick-saving regularly. The rest of the guides, including this one, are good, but I definitely did it despite never having been jailed in Riften.

If I can get on my game today, I’m thinking of doing that quest to help the one guy near the ramp to the second floor area where the forge is and put out the lighthouse fire, etc. but not a huge fan of that small quest chain - although it makes things easy when paired with that quest from the Solitude jailer to get rid of a bandit leader. 🤔

I would think an even easier trick would be to use the training from the beggar in Windhelm. Sure, that idea is indeed time-consuming but it still works. Any idea where I can get an abundance of Blisterwort ? Planning on planting just that in my plantation spot.

Another video with the restoration loop. Whats the point of the game if you can bypass every skill and be invincible from the start. Its basically a 300 hour vacation of button pressing and seeing the great Bethesda design. Absolutely no challenge

Not if you want to have fun nicking gear off of annoying NPCs. Besides, when there comes a time you no longer need it, and you’re capable of reassigning your perk points, you can always move your perk points to other skills.
