I was with my ex for 7 years from 21-28. He broke up with me and it was THE BEST thing that could have happened. Literally every part of my life improved afterwards. I’m 35 now and still grateful for the break up

I’ve been with him for 7 years from 22-29 He just broke up with me a month and a half ago and it feels like life is hopeless, so much pain especially in the second month, so much self-blaming and regret But your comment is very reassuring. I know deep down that this is exactly what I need. It’s the best thing that could happen. But rn it’s so hard to see that. Thanks for the reminder!

@@Rawan-vg5euI felt exactly the same way. It is like a grieving process because they were in our lives for a long time. And it sounds like a cliché, but everything happens for a reason - The universe is making way for something so much better for you now! It takes time but I guarantee once you heal you’ll see everything much clearer. My 30s have been a million times better than my 20s! ❤️

I have a chronic illness that can flare up due to stress, with my ex i was having flare ups literally every single month and my doctors couldn't explain why my health had gone downhill so fast! The month we broke up i had one flare up (he dumped me while I was in the ER in severe pain). After of breakup i didn't have a flare for 6 months!! He was the problem, he was the stressor, and once that stressor was gone my health improved drastically. My body was trying to tell me and i wasnt listening.

I was with my partner for 12 years (I’m 32), we were engaged then suddenly he decided he didn’t want to be with me anymore. It totally agree that the first month or two is the worst thing ever and I felt like I’d never get over it. You have to reevaluate your whole life and it’s so gut wrenching. But then you do just get over it 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve now realised it was the best thing to ever happen to me, my life has changed for the better in so many ways. I still have moments of sadness but they are so fleeting now.

Sarah is such a queen, this is the universe redirecting her 🥰
I worked with Sarah in one of the fast fashion brands back in the day and she was so so lovely, this being recommended was such a throwback. Glad she's thriving!!

I literally rewatched this twice, to take notes down, and I'm sending it to my therapist so we can dissect in my next session because this interview had so many gold nuggets of wisdom!!!

I think during the heartbreak you can’t help but take it personal, but I don’t think it was a reflection of Sarah or she did anything “wrong” I think Joe just felt something was missing and couldn’t go to the next step of getting married not being 100% sure Sarah was the one, sometimes we don’t have the courage to leave and relationships go on for years and years.. we grow and change and not always grow together, but it was 100% for the best because if they got married and had kids it would 100% be more painful, it will all make sense one day ❤

I think what I loved most about this episode is that we also got to hear a lot more from and learn more about you Grace. And "I just find that so interesting" 🤭🥰, love it.

Off topic but the skin+me that Grace talks about at the start of this video… it ACTUALLY WORKS. It’s the only thing that helped me with my acne I’ve also literally not stopped telling people about it. Couldn’t recommend it enough

Fantastic episode. Thank you both Did get a bit confused at saying how a breakup is almost always a good thing, how should that proposition be perceived by those in relationships 😬

Grace talks way too much, she just goes on and on and could get to the point so much quicker. Let Sarah talk … that’s what we are here for.
