I went over to your website and watch the adventure film academy video.....man wow just wow. You tell great stories man. The energy is jumping out of this video to me.... Kino Flo with diffusion taped on is a bad choice for the key light because of the amount of spill. You don't need to place the key light so far overhead like that if you just use a soft box that has an "egg crate" to control the light spill. You can then also achieve this effect in a smaller studio space.

could you do a video on lighting a product for review on a white gloss table and a rgb light behind it and just a top light to get some epic shotS? i have a g7 with a sigma f1.8 metabones speedbooster and i cant get it to look the way im wanting it to look.... thanks

Hi guys, was there noise in the black areas? Was it de-noised in post? I was shooting on an A7iii with iso 800 and I could see some noise in the shadows. Thanks for the video!

this looks really crunchy, I'd use a softer source and ND's instead of dialing back the ISO so you do not loose the dynamic range. The shadows in his face and the highlights look very harsh, maybe that came into play there. Just a thought.

Hey dude. I love your work. I like your videos.. I stumbled on your channel because you use FCPX now. I was thinking about switching to Premiere but thanks to your video, I am staying with FCPX but like you said, for the cinema things and other projects, yes I will use Premiere.. Thanks man.

Wouldn't a fresnel attachment/light be more effective instead of the top down view which would take some grip time?
