Mind-blowing! I usually see these for Nuke so I didn't think of these in AE. Pushes me to use EXR!

Does the 2k file contain normol pass? I only see open EXR in 4k files

Thanks for the question! Generally, we only include EXR files inside of the "Pro" version of the effect. That being said, there are some collections that include EXR in the 2k version which would be: Ground Bursts, Exploding Debris Vol. 1, Large Scale Smoke Plumes Vol. 1.

it's rendered from the 3D App. in the render settings you can add a normal map pass

@@AeBlues nope. You needs to build it as a custom shader. As standard, volumes don't have normals. Nor do they have depth information. Both need to be created manually unfortunately.
