how does this work in the cloud? using OneDrive and getting an error when I attempt to link projects (2nd demo) - here's the msg: You cannot create links from a project file that exists on a Web folder to another file. what's the workaround? TIA!

Good old One Drive, You might have to put it on your desktop or in a shared folder on a network. If you have migrated to One Drive that might be an issue

Our company uses Sharepoint, which I suppose is a component of OneDrive and I am getting this same error. I have to save all of the projects I want to link together on my hard drive. What a BUMMER! Has anyone found a way around this yet? I need to have them all in the cloud. @@ITsEasyTraining1st

Thanks for sharing, in the second harf, I tried to paste link and a window pop up showing The OLE paste operation cannot be completed. The data that you are trying to paste is not valid for Project" . I also tried to highlight the row as you did, but the message still remains. I then tried to create a new file as example with only several new rows then it works, just not on my existing file which I tried to do...very confusing

it might be what you have selected in Excel plus is it the desktop version
@jedzheng17 күн бұрын
@@ITsEasyTraining1st Yes it is desktop version, still could not figure it out after trying different ways and googling.
