Thank you so much for the thoughtful explanation. I was able to follow your instructions very easily. For some reason though, after I pasted my hyperlinked icons into my email signature, the icons never worked as hyperlinks. I did it several times and sent myself a few different test emails to no avail. The only difference I could see from your video and my reality was that when I pasted my icons into my email signature, it would only allow me to do it by hitting Ctrl + V as opposed to Right click and selecting Paste. The paste option was there when I right-clicked, but when I Left-clicked Paste, nothing happened. I don't know if you have a solution to that, but your video was excellent nonetheless.

@@SharonSmith worked perfectly in gmail also. Would really love to see a walkthrough of how to transfer the sign off to gmail for iPhone 14. When I try to copy and paste in the phone it copies but the icons don’t transfer intact. Maybe this is something you could look at (if not already). Thanks

Thanks for the video. It’s very informative. I’m obviously looking to create similar links as you’ve made in your video. My question is, how strict are these various social networking/ media sites regarding the use of their brand logos? I ask because I started this project on LinkedIn’s Brand recognition section of their site. They are very specific as to the logos that can be used, what they’re used for even as specific as color and font size. Actually, to the point of providing HTML/CSS code for the hyperlink they authorize members to use. If I deviate from these guidelines, what will be the consequences, if any? Hello, here are some common troubleshooting tips to get this working: 1. Check the URL Ensure that the URL is correctly entered. It should include the full address, including the "" or "" part. Test the URL in a web browser to make sure it's correct and functioning. 2. Hyperlink Format Make sure the hyperlink is applied correctly. In most applications (like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint), you can right-click the icon or text and choose "Hyperlink" to add the URL. Ensure that the link is not accidentally linked to a different part of the document or a file on your computer instead of the web. 3. Test in Different Environments Test the hyperlink on another device or browser to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, a browser or device-specific issue could prevent the link from opening. If the hyperlink is in an email, some email clients block external links by default. Try adjusting the settings or using a different client. 4. Security Settings Some systems or applications may block hyperlinks due to security settings. Check if there are any restrictions in the application you’re using or on your network. 5. You will have to again relink within your email signature. (just click the icon, you will have a formatting options within the email signature box itself, you will find a link option there. Put your respective link and save) You are good to go!

Try Ctrl+K that is the keyboard shortcut for inserting a hyperlink. You should also be able to access it from the Insert tab, you should see a "Link" drop down in the ribbon. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
