No need for one for me. I don’t do camping stuff and my car just charges all my electronics when it’s on. (My car is basically always on since I live & work out of it) If you plan on doing vanlife I’d probably recommend one. If you’re doing carlife it kind of just depends how you’ll be spending your time. One way or another, I’d say it isn’t a bad idea to have one regardless of the situation.

Do you have a AAA membership? I have the "Plus" AAA membership, and they've helped me twice with lockouts, once with a dead battery, and once I was out of gas (they didn't charge me for the gas). Also, I'm looking into a Jackery sort of battery to charge my devices.

I slept in a sedan for a couple of nights. It's miserable. My SUV was better but summer nights were miserable. I'm in a cargo trailer now. It's tolerable. I have a sink, dresser, queen bed, heater, AC, and 3" of insulation everywhere.

Hey Bro, move to phoenix if you can. People are pretty chill and cost of living is cheap, or cheaper at least. The work your doing is same or better out hear. I moved here from Sac Town 5 years ago. Lots of other jobs available. I guarantee your life will be 10 times better. Guarantee a decent studio apt for 600.00 to 650.00. Same apt in LA is 1200.00
