@@victoriamarshall2212 Hi Victoria, Get a Logitech C920 or better webcam, a decent mic and a fast internet connection, and a decent PC and OBS, there are others that KZbin recommends but OBS seem to be the most widely used.. Think Media may be able to afford all this nice equipment but hes also a hard core streamer, I'm no expert but that's what I'm starting off with..Maybe Media could do a "budget" equipment video..That would appeal to more I think..Hope this helps

Don't get me wrong your channel is excellent and I watch your videos as and when they are uploaded, I was only making a comment that there are people in the world that probably would become a great success on Social Media, but what stops them is the cost of products. I agree completely that you have to show people what can be done and what equipment can be used, I myself have taken your advice on many products which I have bought because of your recommendation and I shared your videos with a number of my colleagues, so I don't doubt what your doing, not at all, but I also know what its like to see what can be done but not have the resources to do anything about it, which obviously is not your fault, to be honest you have probably saved viewers a lot of money by your reviews so they can watch your videos and buy the right equipment rather than waste it on something that will not be good enough. Keep up the great videos.

Yes-sort of. For hardware, I have a MacBook Pro + a Blue Yeti + a Canon Rebel t7i + Black Magic Box. For software, I use: Wirecast + Crowdcast + Magic Lantern [I don't think you need this if you have a Sony - I believe ML specifically removes the DSLR screen panel info for Canons] . I'm not sure this is the most direct method but I go live on FB and KZbin with Crowdcast since I can't seem to make Wirecast work all the time but I'm sure this is a user error issue. LOL. Hope that helps! Let me know what you end up using.

We are thinking of upgrading to a DSLR or video camera, but for now, we use two iPhone 7 plus's. One goes straight to Facebook live (which results in pretty poor quality but is pretty reliable) and the other we record straight to camera to rebroadcast on a different FB page and also to broadcast on KZbin using OBS. Kind of cumbersome but no cost at all since we already had the phones. We found that one iPhone didn't do it with because Facebook in our area only gives us SD video. You can see the difference on our KZbin channel comparing videos from last year versus the last six months.

Caution. The comment you are about to read feels more like a blog post. Do not operate heavy equipment immediately after reading. May cause drowsiness and the urge to read it the next time you are sitting at your um thrown. Now back to the comments. Great video. I have streamed video through so many different platforms that I can’t remember everything that I have actually tried. Currently I’m falling in love with the new update from ManyCam. Same application as vMix but it is a fraction of the cost. I’ve even used it to create a playlist with ad inserts etc and streamed 4 continuous hours of content. Would have been more however Facebook kills your stream after 4 hours. And they really don’t like live streaming rebroadcasts. My cams were c910 pro, a iPhone and an iPod. I’ve also used switcher studio and that is a great program for the on the go live streamer. VMix does tend to be heavy on system resources if you can’t afford upgrade to a dedicated machine as you described however you can buy an off the shelf Walmart gaming computer for around 700 bucks and it’ll do just fine. I’m thinking the rest will have to wait. I’ve already gotten a littl to worst. Thanks for the videos. Keep them coming.
