You must be rolling your eyes since you know how simple this process is. But to some of us whose talents and career choices lie elsewhere...YOU, my friend, saved me time and frustration. Because of arthritis, I had to get a pair of pliers to squeeze the back and then pull... WALLAH! easy peasy. Now I can roll my eyes too. same comment as aleciapacheco5338.....I was trying to load it on the slde, pulled out from the gun as in an arrow. Scratchiing my head thinking I had the wrong staples. So glad I watched your video. Thank you.

How are the Brad nails loaded? It's obvious where the staples go. I've never used a bradnailer so I'm clueless

Just figured it out. You put the brad nails in the chamber just like the staples. Lean them against the side it indicates (which is also the side with the view/window) before pushing the track back in.

You sure helped me today. The previous homeowner left a Craftsman staple gun that I couldn't figure out how to load the staple since it loaded different than my old staple gun. Not only did you reach me how but you saved me money as well since the previous owner left thousands of Staples behind. My model is bigger but it works the same. Model 968447.

Mine is older and would appreciate help so much. It doesn't have the piece that pulls out. You release the lever on either side of the gun. Anyway it will only shoot two or three Staples then it quits. I lubricated and tried new staples. Any suggestions could be helpful. Thank you

Hi I was using my craftsman stapler just like the big one in your video. All of a sudden it stopped working. It won't shoot the Staples in any more . I noticed a hairline crack in the housing . Would that effect its ability to gain the pressure to shoot the Staples? Or does it use some kind of spring system? I only need it to shoot like 10 more Staples to finish my project . So frustrating!!

It depends on where the crack is. The stapler doesn’t use pressure to shoot the staple but rather a spring attached to a “hammer” like bar. I’m not sure why a crack would affect its use unless the spring broke. Try to take the staples out and see if that little hammer bar moves while you squeeze the handle. If it doesn’t you need a new stapler.

On my craftsman stable gun like yours it says "load nails this side" and points to the back. I'm still unsure how to insert them and I got it second hand so no manual. :/

Make sure to squeeze / press the end (side to side) while pulling the slide to the rear.

I have a Craftsman 68428 staple gun and got the right size of staples 1/4" but for the life of me I can't figure out how to load it and nothing I've found searching online gives me any useful information,. There are no manuals or anything. Even this video does not give me the information I need,.
