@@grainificent Yep, just loaded my first Zorki. Haven't used film for, what? 15 years? and actually re-started today. Thanks again for the vid.

Yes, film offers an experience that digital cant completely replicate :)

This is very clear. One question : so the dial at the base of the shutter can also used as a shutter lock as well as a sprocket release?…
@grainificent Жыл бұрын
Yes, from what i remember being told and how i use it, it is a shutter lock. Havent ever found any other purpose for that.

You should take it to a local film camera shop and find out more :) they are fun cameras but rarely worth much :)

I have had an issue with my camera where the film rewind knob wont lift and I have to slowly work it backwards with the little bit of the knob that i can grip. Have you ever had this issue before? If you have, have you found a fix?
@grainificent Жыл бұрын
That is a strange problem. It should not have any problem coming up. Try wiggling it out when you have no film in. If it does come out, move it up and down a few times. Might have some dust and stuff blocking it. I would say some lube would be good but not many people agree to using lube on cameras. I myself do lube elements that should work smoother and never had any problems.

Video says it covers zorki 1-4 but its not the same for a Zorki 3
@grainificent3 ай бұрын
yes, it depends on the models because even Zorki 3 came in different models with different functions :) but overall there shouldn't be too many differences :) and functions explained here can be carried over to other versions appropriately :)
