Great video, what roof rack are you using? I have 2 paddle boards that I need to strap up and am looking to purchase something but not sure what to get

The cross bars on my Jeep are these ones: amzn.to/3SrtAzw The locking racks on top of my cross bars are Yakima SUP DAWG Mounts, you can find those here: amzn.to/4ccd0uI 😊

I noticed you didn't attach a tie-down from the nose of the paddleboard to the fromt bumper of yiur Jeep, as shown in the Yakima product video. Is that just overkill?

The front tie-down is just an extra precaution. The only time I have used one is on a long distance trip with lots of highway. If you want extra security then it's a good option but I have never lost a board with just the cross straps in my 10+ years transporting boards. 😊

@kristapatterson314 I used the tie down for my 250-mile haul and 11 ft. board as a precaution, but I really don't think it did much except move around and make me nervous. The actual board never slid or changed position. It was such a cool invention I discovered through your video. Thanks!
