Nice to see this. It was my first truck job,at a flour mill/factory. 19years old. Trucks and tractors came to unload the grains. Ore our grain truck went to get it from farmers or other companies. They brought the grains sometimes from the outland,France,Germany, ore whatever. But most came from farmers near. This entered the sheds or silos via the conveyor belt in a pipe. They made different types of flour from the differend grains. They turned the waste into fodder for the cattle. And we took the flour to the bakers with the high-pressure tank trucks {ore,How you guys name them?} to blow the flour under pressure into their silloos. But also bales of flour. That was a heavy job to do.

What type of freight do you do nowadays mate and do the run KW and peterbilts or just europium scania Volvo over Germany
@MarioVanDerMaas11 ай бұрын
@@ashleynicholas2261 I stopt trucking abouth 12 years ago. I have driven various types of freight and combinations through EU long distance for 23 years. And yes, I also drove through Germany. EU is a bit bigger than germany, as you suggest. Aldo the German has diferent thoughts abouth that. And I bet an American or Aussie will go crazy from all the traffic, EU laws and regulations around him. Nope. Scania and Volvo aint what they look.There are better trucks in EU with more space and comfort for the driver at long hauling. You cant turn your ass in a Volvo,ore desently put your pents on after a sleep on the small bed. They dont have KW,Mack Peet ore Star in EU, unfortunately.There is no room for them at most companies and roads. The semis are too long and have a turning circle that is once as large as the EU cabovers and noses. They are also rejected under EU laws and regulations. The blind spot is too big and too many. The underride protection is not available or is too severe, which increases the risk of injury in the event of a collision. As they say. Even the lamps and top lights are rejected and do not meet EU standards. There are some enthusiasts with a lot of money, converted to EU laws and regulations. They pull a short trailer.which for most types of transport is not enough to transport a decent load and earn money from it. To bad.

What a great video. I didn't know about test weights.
@MarioVanDerMaas11 ай бұрын
I've never worked with it. But I have seen scales on the trailers. Then the weight on the axle or the complete load is weighed, somthing like Tez shows. Ingenious.

Just the axles

Back in the day it was just guess work and if the scalies pulled you over you were either over or not. 🙄

Is the test weight different because of moisture content or different weight of the grain content/size? Did you empty both silos? Well that was complicated. I remember watching trucks offloading grain into silos for transport by train. All the paperwork was enough to make your brain explode. I hope never to come across you loaded up and on the road, scary.

Mostly size of the seed mate. Only one silo
