Do you recommend removing the blades from the handle after every use for storage or can they stay in the handle?
@LeafShaveCo2 жыл бұрын
You definitely do not need to remove them after each use - I keep mine in the handle for as long as I am shaving on that set of blades. I probably will pop it open and just rinse inside and rinse the blades every shave or two just to keep them clean, but they go right back into the head. - hope that helps! - Adam

Suggested razor change? How often to change? Which area wears down the fastest? Unsafe or damage to the product? Care for info?
@LeafShaveCo3 жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabeth! How often you change blades can vary person to person depending on personal preference, and how well they're cared for. Some swap weekly, others go 3 months. They're super quality blades, so you could really push them if you wanted! The best way to care for your Leaf razor and blades are to rinse thoroughly after use, store dry etc. The razor's key systems are backed by a lifetime warranty, so as long as you care for your razor (Tips here: leafshave.com/pages/how-to-shave) you'll be good to go!

A good way to extend the life of a razor of this form factor is to dry it completely and then strop it on a towel after use. I personally also recommend disinfecting with rubbing alcohol between uses. I use dollar shave club razors currently (waiting for one of these, then I'll kick my old one to the curb), and using this method, I extend the life of the blade cartridges tremendously. They last for months, and I imagine with how you can open this one, you can make it last much longer and keep it squeaky clean.

Can you use half blades from crown etc?
@LeafShaveCo3 жыл бұрын
Yep! You can use any standard half-DE blade, or full DE blade (you'd just need to snap them in half)

this razor rear fixing screw is really weak. I bought 3 but only that part was broken. I sent a e-mail for this problem They have no intention of improving the product....
@LeafShaveCo2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lauren! Not only have we improved the strenght of the screw mechanism in the last 6 months, but it is also a key area of concern for future razor designs. Thanks for the feedback - and if you ever have an issue with your razor just drop us a note, we can repair or replace it under the warranty. - Adam

@@LeafShaveCo What exactly has been improved? There doesn't seem to be any change in appearance.
@LeafShaveCo2 жыл бұрын
@@laurenkylian9974 Hi Lauren - we are continually improving the razors, sometimes it's visible sometimes it's more subtle. In this case, we saw an opportunity to improve this in the current design -- by implementing steel inserts for the mating threads. This is an internal unseen part. This provides additional resilience and we've seen improved performance since implementing. And of course as I mentioned before, as good stewards of any mechanical device we pretty religiously track failure modes, and note them for opportunities in future product design. - Adam

I would like to see the Leaf Shave in real action for head shave, since "before" to "after" by looking a real shaving in real action...

There are youtube videos demonstrating this, with positive results. So much that I purchased one myself. Yet to use it since I still have an 8 year supply of mach 3 razors.

This is the least helpful instructional video on earth. Why not slow down and use words. I have no idea what you are doing.

And I am ready to throw out my razor. This is the worst experience.
