Just ordered the full kit. Some people may say a total waste of 300$ canadian. But my life is priceless and this seems to be the best kit for my belt out of all the other ones ive been looking at. Just need to get a decompression needle. Hopfully I dont need to use this. But id rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it. In the meantime be comfortable while carrying it around! In your prototypes, did you consider having more than just 1 large elastic retention band? I ask because when treating PTs I always found it annoying having everything come out when all I wanted was 1 item.

Absolutely. This is meant to be a simple low profile kit. Having more organization makes the pouch larger. There is possible a larger kit with more organization is in the future.

@@flatlinefiberco My bad I wasn't clear. I think the overall size is good, wouldn't want anything much bigger; tired of the issued IFAKs that are the size of 2 bricks. Just looking for the same foot print with an additional band so I could separate the chest seal from a pressure dressing or 14GA hard needle.

​@athrough9 really stoked to get mine but I initially thought the same about the insert. It'll definitely work but maybe in the future when you release new sizes just add in some options for different inserts or maybe even some modular design with holes and some shock cord the user can do what he/she likes. Still really like what you guys are doing here and really stoked to get mine. Going to be a massive upgrade from my old one.

Would running the tq holder on top of the pimp cause any issues?

Nope. That would just come down to preference. Run it on top and let me know how you like it.

I am curious why you chose an NPA over an OPA? And no quickclot for a gunshot or knife wound?

NPAs are what I'm the most familiar with and the most commonly found in trauma kits. The compressed gauze is what one would use for wound packing. Combat quick clock gauze is great, but it would drive the cost of the kit up significantly. We will eventually carry combat gauze as well, but it can be easily found from reputable websites.

They did. The only thing that changed though is it now comes with one compressed gauze.

It can, but not without some creativity. We are working on making it compatible to be mounted vertically.
