What Eko Atlantis need is at least 10 different hotels 10 different residential buildings (made affordable for the average Nigerian , a stadium ,banks (over 10 thousand Nigerians go to the bank evryday it will help bring the city to live) monuments to attract visitors shopping mall bar restaurants (bring the night life alive) churchs besides the city to attract more people there and schools ,this are the base of every big city 🌆

Imagine if the GTB bank moves its HQ into the city, would be a game changer and encourage others to join in. People like what other people like. Having the US Consulate in the city will surely attract more Embassies into the city but more of them do not have the huge capital to buy expensive plots of land and build like the US or UK would. The City is the future of Lagos

I think Eko Atlantic missed out on the massive Lagos Arena being built in Lekki. It would have been the game changer for an accelerated development in the city. Eko Hotels halls are presently too small to occupy a larger audience so citing something like the Lagos Arena in the city would draw more development to the city because more developers would be interested to build high rises to accommodate important dignitaries and people who would be thronging the city for important world conferences, expos, exhibitions, politics, mega music shows like the one in O2 Arena and more. One thing for sure, the city needs to come alive and I think citing something that will attract people to the city like in Dubai will be beneficial to all.

@@samsonakala EAC is a prime location for such project because of its good road network, accessible from any part of the city, etc. And of course EAC is a Live, Work and Play so people wouldn’t even need to stay outside the city while visiting the arena. A lot of event planners would prefer EAC for their events and that will in turn drive the development process in the city because guest would prefer to stay in the city while attending shows, conferences, etc. So having such a mega arena in EAC will accelerate development and more investor will be interested to build high rises residential and hotels to accommodate the large amount of people that will be visiting the city for one events or the other.

This is a privately funded project. EAC was not intended to be built by the founders and 80% of the land sold out already. Most owners are using it to STORE VALUE and for future developments. In 5 - 10 years EAC would be different. 95% of the Top Banks in Nigeria have plots of land in the commercial area of the City and they plan to use them as their future HQs. Thank you.
