I got two questions 1. Does it have the same affect while trying to hit-stick? 2. Does it work when they’re in front of u and you’re chasing them down the field for a shoestring tackle?

So far I’ve been using it more so as a break down tackle to meet the running back in the gap. It does help with the hit stick but you gotta be a little closer to get that lock on. If I’m chasing someone down for a shoe string tackle I don’t use it, I just go for the dive

The button is actually for defense assist, that’s what’s making you lock on. Heat seeker is helping when you actually go for the tackle. So they just work together

If your player is in man to man it's going to go to that player when holding it but I believe if your player is blitzing it'll do what he's doing

@@DrosaGaming thanks man! I'll definitely give this a try. Can you bring out a video of showing some good run defense plays? I have the most trouble stopping stretch plays. I've tried almost every formation I can think of. Sometimes I stop the run. Sometimes I don't. For example, the other day I played a dude that used the Saints. He didn't pass once. He ran like 22 times for 315 yards. I believe that was a fluke cuz I'm not half bad at Madden. Just could use your tips and knowledge of the game broski! Thanks again
