If you purchased a font from creative market and upload it to Canva, and sell it as a template for customers (and giving a Canva link), can they still access and use the font?

Thank you for this! One question, if they can unlock and delete the image, can they also copy and paste it into a new Canva document? I’m trying to find a way to keep someone from being able to basically steal my designs and repackage them to sell for themselves. Any tips are appreciated!

Unfortunately there's not a way to keep people form stealing your designs. But, if you download the design with the parts that you don't wan't to be editable, then reupload it into Canva, you can add the editable part to it since the design will be "flattened"...hope this helps!

Okay so since you posted the video, CANVA has made some changes to their site and how the information appears... Your video is still relevant. I'm following along to make sure I have the correct process myself. 1) LOCKED MY PAGE 2) SHARE - top right of Canva - COLLABORATION LINK from drop-down and then select ( ANYONE WITH LINK CAN ACCESS DESIGN) but we also want to select the "CAN VIEW" option as well? Not the "CAN EDIT" option? Is this right? Anyone else that can guide me please feel free to reply. CAUTION 🚨 A word of caution that if you play around with this and don't watch deleting the link after trying to share it to your free account. You end up locking yourself out of your own work... Or at least trying to follow the video here; LOCKING MYSELF OUT of my own work is seemingly what I have done.

To clarify, even if I lock elements and share a template (i.e. sell a template) the other user could in fact unlock something if they needed? I've been wanting to lock things so they don't have to worry about things shifting by mistake, but also want them to have flexibility to extend text boxes or location if they need to. Just wanted to confirm.

Enjoyed the video. Very useful. Have a question: Looking for a document that I can attach in my Etsy listing, so the customer who does not have a Canva account is guided as to how to create a Canva account (free one) and then how to do the editing of the texting, how the customer can get it printed etc. Can you refer me to a well written document. Have been searching but with no luck. Thanks

The crispness of the image is reduced when inserting back as a png. Is there a way around this? I really don't want my customers to be able to edit every element on my template

Oh no! There's not a way around it that I know of unfortunately.

Try to as as PDF? It's a 'vector' file, that should make a difference. PNG is a raster file
