Oh me too, my machine beeps at me constantly and in manual mode I go faster than 100% so my stitch length is crazy all over the place.

Oh my that’s so effective I only have a Grace 2 machine and a domestic sewing machine I think it’s too high as my arms ache after 3/4 passes! But I’ve taken your advice and went in the craft room for the an hour and made some half square triangles easy 16 I’m sore but feel I’ve done something 😂❤

oh this was great. I have a quilt I need to load and since I am most proficient in meandering with loops, stars and hearts was going to do one of those but I can do a wishbone so I am going to try that.

I have quilted for eons but a complete newbie to a longarm machine, I am just about ready to put my first quilt on it and see what kind of mess I can make! . Are you not using the red snappers, or whatever those were called, that you showed in an earlier video? I've watched videos where they floated the top, others where they rolled the top, and still others using round clamps or those snapper things, which one do you use most? I use Red Snappers. I only use them to hold the backing on. I hardly ever use my quilt top bar. I always float my tops. And if I need to attach the quilt top I pin that one on. But I always use the red snappers 😉

I’d like to see how you load the quilt on the long arm. My sisters long arm is so different from the newer long arm . It’s sewed from the back of the machine instead of facing the front of the machine which makes free movement more difficult

I have a video on how I load in the longarm playlist. Mine can be used from the front or the back. I don't use the back unless I am following a paper design.

Are you pressing needle up and down to pull up bobbin thread or the start stop button? Is it better to start and end with needle up? Beautiful job as always Tiffany .

I use needle up and down to pull up thread and tie off. And I have mine at needle down for stop. That way my machine doesn't ghost roll when I need to step away.

Tiffany I kid you not I was going to try my hand at free motion quilting on the Juki , I have the Solars to use on the middle of the quilt doing edge to edge I can get a 16 x 12 in with that and then the borders are 5 ins and i'm going to try wishbone along the edges ,that will be me practicing any advice on the borders .And I enjoyed this video I could see the Diamonds in the quilt I wish I was brave enough to try all over but I better wait till after xmas , im getting gifts ready for Christmas .
