OMG...I watched the first 20 minutes of this video. I had to go to walmart for other things, so I walked into the fabric area.....I'm a quilter so it's part of my routine whether I buy anything or not LOL. I picked out 2 bolts that I liked and waited for the rep to give me the price per yard. My app didn't work, so I waited. The rep said there are more!!! The one I liked the best was $1.11 per yard for the entire bolt of 8 yards.....$8.88 total, plus tax of course. I could not believe it. I bought the bolt for backings to a couple quilts I'm making for donation. Thanks for the tip!!!!!

@@TiffanysQuiltingLife Not all Walmarts are created equal. I went to another Walmart about 8 miles away. The exact same fabric was $2.40 per yard. Interesting.

Walmart is where I started fabric buying when I first started quilting! Next was JoAnn's calicos lol. Now it's the name brands but I love them.

Ya ya gotta keep an eye on Walmart cause they have sales hidden within now. I use the Walmart scanner now to see what's on sale which helps.

Shirt cotton fabric is call sheeting. I am a clothing tailor but dabble in quilting. I make a lot of men's oxford shirts which is your button up style shirt.😉

Just a hint when I worked in fabric department years ago we would judge how much fabric is on a bolt by counting 2 rows as a yard so if you are judging using 3 rows you have more fabric than you think on those bolts. count the rows on those 8 yard bolts and see how many there are as a test. Awesome find luv your taste in fabrics. I found a sell out like this at wallmart a few years ago and kicked myself for not buying more.

I been counting them. These bolts some are 3 rolls and a few so far have been 4 rolls are a yard. It's the thickness of the bolt I think. The thin bolts have had 2 1/2 spins as 1 yard. But so far most are very close to what I counted. I have like 10 bolts left to count. I am gonna tally it all up compared to my receipts 😄 I know I highly distracted that woman that did the counter 😏 I hope next time you find a sale that you stop and at least get some fabric 😊 It's always a good day to hit fabric sales 💙

I hit A Wal-Mart A few years ago and left with a stack of facric. Now our Wal-Marts are going to pre cuts 2,5,8 & 10 yard cuts. Sad. Cause you could run in and buy a 1\2 yard to finish a project.

Woohoo Tiffany! What a great score!! I’ve used some fat quarters from them for porch cushions. They’ve held up pretty good. My nearest Walmart has a small fabric area but the one a little further has a much larger one. Will have to pay closer attention next time I go. Thanks again for sharing. Yesterday my friend got a couple of full bolts of fabric for $1.50 a BOLT! She spent $18 for a stack of bolts of fabric 8 bolt high.
