How To Look After Your New Amaryllis Bulb

I ha the exact same box that a friend sent me..same flower and pot,along with the bulb and potting mix block.i put my bulb in miracle grow potting soil and it's doing great.it right now has 2 blooms blooming away.pink I have a second one that had broken off the stalk but its still blooming, sitting in fertilized water..

Great video 🌷. I got two new bulbs this year. They’re both in wax. What do I do with them now? Do I peel the wax off and plant it in soil? Thank you 😊

The wax bulbs will grow and flower without any water, you just need to make sure they are kept upright as they can easily fall over once the flowers start to grow. However when grown like this the bulb will die after flowering. If you don't intend to keep the bulb just enjoy the display. But if you want to keep the bulb for next year you need to peel off the wax and plant the bulb in a pot before the flowers start to grow. If they are already flowering you can try to plant them, but it might be too late for the roots to form.
