Diedra, you have brought my life back to what it was before C19. You lifted me out of my 2 year funk, and reminded me of how happy I was before C19. Because of YOU, I've spent time going through my closet and I've found DOZENS of clothes that I forgot that I had, and I've begun wearing them again!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!! Edited to say: I learned how to live in the present during the C19 years; I learned a thing called 'grounding'. I hung a hand written sign on my wall across from my bed that says "Here in the present moment, I am safe" I see that every morning and it reminds me that I'm safe and therefore, HAPPY. Also, my way of squeezing in summer fun, as you said, is going outside every day to get fresh air and water my garden. It's averaging 100 degrees every day here in TEXAS, but I still get outside every day to enjoy the summer!

My Mom died at the beginning of last month. Even though I’m 62, it doesn’t hurt any less. I’m feeling very bereft, after almost two months of disbelief. We thought she had years left, she told me she thought she had a decade just a few weeks before when we went out for shopping and lunch, for the last time! She was 82, not so very old these days, my healthy Dad is 92. I have to take my own advice and get out for an hour’s vigorous walk every day, it helps so much with depression. It’s just difficult when it’s so hot out. I can’t stand the thought of never seeing her again.
