Great tutorial…I just wish that the title, or ANYWHERE in the video it said this is for children. I get it’s in the description, but I rarely read the descriptions. If you’re making this, double the length on stitching. Also, this makes a very pointy head, so round it out when doing your final stitching together.

2 week old knitter here... May I or may I not use a bigger loom for the same desired design in a more flexible stitch? I'm sorry but I MUST ask all the stupid questions, I'll learn better. Also attempting to make 4 of these in different sizes. Slowly though. Lol Thank you 🐻

I have the new set of upgraded loom, so which round loom would i use to make an adult? would it be the loom with 44 pegs or 62 pegs?

I also would like to know if you can use a larger loom for an adult size and would you need to make more rows of the pattern? Thank you.
@Tuteate
@Tuteate 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Kathleen! Yes, I would use the 41-peg loom for an adult size. You could follow the same directions (and make the same number of rows) if you want a "tight-fitting" hood and some more rows if you want a "loose-fitting" one.

Two questions... 1. Would Lion Homespun work for this pattern? 2. Could you use the next larger loom for an adult version? Thank you so much for this pattern. I know I'll be using it soon.

Hi! Yes and yes, I think Homespun will work (I haven't try it, though) and you can use the 41-peg loom for an adult version :)

I love this too! I've got two kids and this kind of hood/hat would be perfect for them both! If I'm going to make one for a baby who is between 2-4 months old, then which loom should I be using?
@Tuteate
@Tuteate 5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Johanna :) For a baby (congratulations!) I would use the 31-peg loom and work each part a bit shorter (less number of rounds for the cowl and less number of rows for the hood part).
