Thank You for such a great idea. Love this, I have made myself a set of 4, all in different colors. These really help keep my tea warm on a chilly day.

I think your mug cozy is the best. There are many pretty ones, but yours...It has a bottom/coaster which in my opinion is what helps keep your drink warm. Most tutorials for mug cozys do not have bottoms, or are small bands just to protect your fingers from a hot cup, for looks and personalization. How is your drink staying warm then? Is that not the point of a cozy to keep a drink warm or cold? These mug cozys really work! They are cute and functional, just they way I like things that are hand made. Thank you so much for the fun easy tutorial.

I love this! ❤ Thank you for such a lovely tutorial and you went slow enough for me to understand. I know this is an easy project but I’ve seen other videos where the person goes so fast and it is hard for me to understand. I also like that this cozy has a bottom part to it. ❤

Another simply amazing tutorial. I cannot thank you enough for your easy to learn videos. I made one and it was a bit big for my tea/coffee mugs so I will reduce the amount of rows (less than 10) and hopefully it will fit them. It might take me a few tries but I will get there eventually, You've made the tutorial so easy to do and to resize according to any mug. My best regards to you! xo

Whats the formula if i want to work on a 36 pegs loom to make bigger round?
@Tuteate9 жыл бұрын
+Zara Ramadi hi! We haven't tried that yet, but I guess you would need to keep working decreases. For example, you could divide your loom in groups of 6 pegs. Reduce #2 to #1, then #4 to #3, then #6 to #5, then maybe #3 to #1,...

So, I'm a beginner. However I feel like your either left handed or going backwards for a reason i still don't understand. can you explain why you are knitting to the left? and the double wrapping threw me as well. Is there a specific reason you double wrap and then knit one peg at a time rather than going all the way around the loom. Help!? I'm dizzy! :)
@Tuteate5 жыл бұрын
Hi Megan! You can work the whole project to the opposite direction as well :) I just feel more comfortable working to the left, I don't know why (this is how I started when I was a newbie...)

Is there anybody that could help me? I've tried this project at least 3 times but it seems as though the top hole of the cozy ends up being too small/tight for an average size mug. The rest of the cozy seems to fit well, just not the top. If there's anybody that can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
@wlc19596 жыл бұрын
The video and the prompts were very easy to follow however, this was a fail for me....a reference addressing knitting the gap for the mug handle would have been so helpful for this beginner; someone previously commented that the gap involved the 'flat' panel at 10:30 but it was not clear on the video that the 10 'flat' rows did not go all the way around ... were those 10 rows only to go back and forth half way?...that's not clear either...sadly I used a lot of yarn and invested time on something that will not work on a mug now. Good practice, I guess, but not having a finished product that resembles the picture that drew me to the pattern is disappointing
@JB-vd8bi6 жыл бұрын
That's going to happen time and time again with knitting. Maybe try a written pattern in conjunction with the video
