Great content. I’ve been there before and what I learnt…it is FREAKING exhausting. Saps your energy and leaves you second-guessing the adequacy of yourself and the efforts you’re putting in. It takes divine patience to go through all these with someone else when, in fact you have your own emotional challenges (of which she happens to be one) to deal with. It’s very very easy to lose yourself and everything that attracts you to her. Easier and quicker than you may realise. My take is: every person should work on their self awareness and healing to the point where they don’t put unfair burden on people who love them (but might be unable to deal with that much). If you asked me, loving a woman with this attachment ‘issue’ won’t be worth it for most men. For me, it definitely isn’t worth it and I stay away the moment I sight the flags. Shallom.
@BlkDieselКүн бұрын
Well said! It becomes far too frustrating and exhausting over time, it becomes a constant energy drainer. It's akin to being on a constant rollercoaster. To be honest, I've got far too many things to lend my energies to, as far as fullfilling my purpose and my plans, than to continually lend this type of understanding and support to someone like this. Be Elite Today!

The right video at the right moment!! You know, four days ago I had a big emottional moment with her, I told her (now knowing about her avoidant attachment) "I respect the way you are" and in that moment, she started crying a lot!!! The next day I behave like always (even though I was rejected) and now she is more open to me. Thanks Jess. Luis from Mexico City :)

this came at a perfect time. i just said something too intimate-focused to this girl i'm talking to and she always withdraws when i do something like that. i've realised that now. i'm gonna speak to her in a completely different manner now to show her i understand her and want her to feel safe. im actually the same with a lot of people, especially family. ive realised im semi-avoidant leaning into secure, depending on the person in my life. can be daunting and overwhelming. lets see if we can make this work
@naijainnit12 күн бұрын
It could be that, or it could be that the level of intimacy you express was too early within the relationship. Sometimes when we don’t know someone long enough, we can come across as clingy or needy when the relationship has not developed to a certain point. But, if you have known her for quite some time and you’ve said those things And receive that kind of reaction, then it certainly could be that she is fearfulavoidant.
@andycole23911 күн бұрын
So I did this, I told her from the onset what i want buh she insisted we take in slow, I said cool I always let her lead the communication but I've learnt a lot from Jess and I'm gonna implement it Especially when it comes to chasing

I started dating a woman a few weeks ago and I think that this is her issue. She is quite beautiful with no makeup, she doesn't make the effort to look attractive and I would most most men don't give her the attention they would if she presented herself different. I however always look to see an attractive woman without makeup so when we wake up together in the morning, we find each other attractive. I think she is hurt from her previous marriage or relationship and is hard to break open. I have been doing what you stated in this video naturally, but your tips are SPOT ON!!! Prove yourself by actions, not words. If you know how it hurts to be betrayed, then you should also understand what she feels betrayed but probably more than you. Build that connection slowly and with actions, she will have to learn to trust you or anyone for that matter

Basically put on some special kid gloves. Never expect anything in return. Don't give too much nor too little. Only to find out they've put the trust you've been slowly building on a life-line by not being able to control their own emotion, jumping for an easy 15 minute fling just to see if you'd stay. For the love of god, don't do this to yourselves. An avoidant will make you feel like you could be the one, and then they disregard you like you never meant anything.

Thanks Jess, perfect timing but me now am tired even unknowingly how to term it I have been trying to get along with my person but it's too much draining am tired, think they need time or someone else who can withstand such instability, someone who is always making you feel like your playing devil's advocate, it's crazy to handle these kind of people, been with this one for some time, I give up, I have done my best, you rather get where your energy is matched and replicated, not always trying to be the one to clean up someone's mess because they're too afraid to let themselves just enjoy life for what it is... am done friends but thanks for the video at least I know it's not only me who been in this!

Spent 10 years with an FA. Do not learn hot to love them. They need to learn how to love like a normal person and will likely need help to get there if possible. These people are basically narcissist-lite and can devour a normal person and turn them anxious or worse. Please don’t hurt yourself by wasting time loving an avoidant.

By the time I realized she is FA, she already broke up with me 4times. Now it is 5months and seems final. She offered to be friends and I declined because of my romantic interests in her. In another video you recommended to be be friends with your Ex to eventually rekindle. I don’t know about that. I also don’t know if I should try the friends route to see where it leads but I don't want to be stuck in friend zone that is full of emotional draining hurt

Hey Jessica, I hope your day is going great! I just wanted to ask if you have a video on how to make a woman fall in love without having to say “I love you” or using any other sweet talk. I’ve seen a lot of people do this, and it works for them every time, but I’m yet to understand how to do it like they do. If you do make a video, could you let me know the title so it’s easier for me to find?

Typically these type of issues are never resolved with women. Don't waste your time and resources on these women. It will be a hellacious roller coaster ride. Up and down. Down and up. You'll look around one day and realize you've wasted all this time. This will be for the entire length of the relationship. Relationships are difficult as they are. Believe me. I've been in two of these type relationships. Neither are healed and neither have kept a relationship.

Suggestion for everyone out there - AVOID THE AVOIDANT, they will destroy your mental health, they are not worthy of your love, you can go with secure or even with anxious one but you should avoid avoidant if you value yourself and love yourself For avoidant- go for therapy before going into relationship (stop fcuking someone's mental health 😊)
@BrooksFleming-r7x14 күн бұрын
Love em then leave em. They always seem to eventually come back when they realize the grass isn't greener. And when they come back. Don't make the same mistakes. Make sure their return is on ur terms. Or you'll be back at square one. Lol

avoid the avoidant because the have a void that cant be fixed. Believe it or feel it. if she cant heal herself, she isnt worth it because she will dump you in hard times. better look for a wife, that stays in hard times, otherwise you gotta pay the price one day.
