What if you could tell your co-workers what you really think of them? At the world’s most successful hedge fund, everyone is rated and ranked constantly - in front of everyone. They’ve figured out how to embrace negative feedback, and they swear it’s essential to their success. Adam shows how you can learn to take criticism well - and get better at dishing it out. This episode is brought to you by Bonobos, Accenture, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Warby Parker.

It baffles me that this has zero comments and less views. It's practically gold lying there for free over the Internet. Loved the entire show. When I heard the first story about motivating the millitary personnel, I laughed so hard. From that, I knew that this is gonna be super interesting and insightful. :)

There's one component I wish they would have spoken to. It's the criticizers and the company putting in the effort to establish a culture where a person is allowed to improve. I think so many people want to justify what they've done or otherwise guard themselves because they may be worried about keeping their job. And I have been in companies where folks are quick to fire people that don't produce. So I think that's an important component.

Ego speaks louder than accepting negative or constructive criticism.

The hard thing is people always have something to say, and it hard to decide what to change, what to not

Unfortunately, criticizing a boss or manager is often thought of as insubordination. I think that's why people 'just suck it up'.
