This is a proper how to video. He didn’t fool around with talking about Sponsors and jump around his shop like a cheerleader. With random stupid crap.. just a manly video. Nicely done bud

@@MrGonein60if you’re near SC there’s one in Vickers junk yard. 67 FB. Yellow. With black deluxe interior. Bench seat . Roof cut off. Most parts gone. Wrecked in front. Seat was still there a couple years ago . I bought the front discs off it.

Having worked on cars my whole life (i'm 63), the only problem I can see is that when you cut a spring, you actually make it even stiffer! It looks great lowered, but really needs small block springs, it will never ride right with the stiff spring rate of big block springs, which is now even higher. I used to have a chart from the spring shop I used to work at, but if memory serves me, 1-1/2 coils on a mustang spring translates to an increase of 20-25% on spring rate (stiffness).

I just learned something. I've drove it to town a few times now and it seems OK. As long as it doesn't drop anymore I'm happy. Thankyou for your knowledge. Great comment.

From caved in passenger side coupe that they robbed parts and gave up on to a Shelby fastback that anyone would love to own and absolutely the stance is better it looks mean like it's supposed to, and with this information and my back I'm going with big block springs LOL, absolutely it looks better lower but I need the few inches, the wheels do look killer on it the big ole meats on the back but yes Shelby wheels, thanks for reverse information for me

Is this what you do to your Eleanor Cars too? Mine sits high in the front but I got four lug I still have to change out Do you know of any good kits and have front disc brakes?
@MrGonein60

@Crafttime316 on my eleanors I run either mustang 2 style suspension or aje most of the time. Most of those kits are capatible with wilwood brakes

Can you cover the Mustang lean, sagging on one side 1/2? No its not the leaf springs those are new. Where can I get a shift?
@MrGonein60
@MrGonein60 15 күн бұрын
@jpmendoza138 if it's lower on let's say on right rear then it's up on left front. Then way I fix them in by putting a lowering block on opposite side rear. So you would probably need 1/2 inch block. The front will follow
